Pahoehoe to 'A'a transition
Due to the steep escarpment, the pahoehoe flow transitioned to 'A'a once the pahoehoe met the cliff's edge. Robert Zierenberg is shown for scale. Rope-like and tubular features were preserved in the remaining pahoehoe flow.
